Since founding Insight in August 2000, Pete has built the firm as a forward thinking accounting and wealth advisory firm. His vision is to provide clients with a full range of services that support them in the successful operation of their businesses, achievement of financial independence and a healthier work-life balance.
Pete is a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Chartered Tax Advisor and holds a Bachelor of Business and Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning). He has specialised as an accountant, business and financial adviser since moving to Goondiwindi in 1991.
Pete has a strong commercial and financial background and enjoys sharing this with clients. His expertise spans diverse areas, including agriculture, property development, farming operations, share portfolios, superannuation, new business set-up and general business management. His hands-on experience, combined with this longstanding client relationships, empowers him to navigate complex tax and family situations with ease.
Pete’s continued involvement with clients over the last 30 years has equipped him with the knowledge and experience to assist in complex tax and family situations. Renowned for his integrity and trusted advice, Pete is dedicated to helping clients build and protect their wealth for the future.

Chantelle joined Insight in August 2011 as an Administrative Assistant. In her time with Insight, Chantelle has gone through the ranks to become a Client Manager. In this role she works closely with her clients and takes the lead in ensuring office efficiency.
Chantelle has a Diploma of Accounting and is undertaking specific tax and business-focused professional development. Chantelle is a JP and is one of our in-house Xero cashbook experts.
Being a relationship-focused person, Chantelle is adept at understanding her clients’ needs. Her approach is to constantly search for tools and strategies to make life easier for her clients and our team. Her attitude and open demeanour make her a favourite with clients and a go-to person within the team.
Leigh has been in the accounting industry since 1993. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a CPA. Leigh joined the Insight team in August 2023 bringing an extensive knowledge base and a deep understanding of financial principles.
Having grown up near Winton in Western Queensland, Leigh offers a unique perspective on the challenges businesses face in rural and regional communities.
Leigh is highly skilled in providing technical taxation advice and general business management support. She has worked closely with clients across various industries, including construction, retail, hospitality and agriculture.

Jo joined Insight in 2018, as an Executive Assistant, working closely with Pete and has since transitioned to the role of Executive Officer. It is her strong mix of experience, knowledge and skills that allows her to play a vital role in supporting both the team and clients. She thrives on tackling new and challenging projects.
Jo leads the on boarding of new clients and works closely with them to establish structures that meet their needs. As a certified Xero expert, she assists clients with the setting up of their files and providing ongoing support.
Jo spent four years working in a local law firm, where she gained valuable skills that have supported her transition into the accounting field. Jo undertakes specific tax, structure & leadership professional development, she is a qualified JP and is currently working towards a Diploma of Business.

Sam commenced his journey with Insight as a Graduate Accountant in October 2021. After completing his schooling at The Southport School, he pursued his Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Accounting at the University of Queensland. Sam is a qualified JP and is currently working towards completing his CPA.
Sam’s commitment to building positive relationships has led him to take on the role of Client Manager. With a genuine interest in rural accounting, he is dedicated to delivering strong results for his clients. Sam has expanded his expertise across different industries, gaining valuable experience, and offering insightful support to his clients. His passion and enthusiasm make him a great asset to both our team and clients.

Monique joined the Insight team in July 2019 as an Administrative Assistant and has since progressed to the role of Client Manager. She graduated as School captain of Wauchope High School in November 2018 and is currently completing a Diploma of Accounting. Monique is also one of our in-house Xero experts and is also qualified NSW JP.
A proactive and lateral-thinking member of the team, Monique enjoys working with her portfolio of clients. She is passionate about helping clients with all areas of their compliance obligations and is dedicated to providing exceptional service. Monique’s positive attitude and her approachable demeanour makes her a favourite among clients.

Lydia joined the Insight team in July 2020 as an Administrative Assistant after graduating from Goondiwindi High School in 2019. Lydia is currently studying a Diploma of Accounting, while also gaining valuable on-the-job experience.
Lydia has quickly progressed within the team and works closely with the accounting team to ensure seamless operations. Known for her thoroughness, she is dedicated to delivering quality work in a timely and efficient manner, always focused on meting client needs.

Mia joined the Insight team as an Administrative Assistant in November 2023 after graduating from Goondiwindi High School. Since then, she has transitioned into the role of Administration Manager.
Mia is enjoys being an integral part of the Administration team and working closely with the Accounting team. In the coming months, she will begin a Diploma of Accounting to further her knowledge and skills.
Outside of work, Mia competes internationally as the Vice-Captain of the Australian Under-25 Long Range Rifle Team.
Ryley joined the Insight team as an Administrative Assistant in October 2024. A Goondiwindi local, she graduated from Goondiwindi High School in 2019.
In her role, Ryley provides valuable support across a range of administrative tasks while working closely with the accounting team to ensure smooth operations.
